Daily Pet Log

Support

Write to hello@dailypetlog.com. A person reads it, and you should hear back within two working days.

If you are reporting something broken, the two things that make it fixable are what you expected to happen and what happened instead. The version number from Household → App info helps too.

Questions that come up

I've forgotten my password.

On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot your password?. You can either have a reset link emailed — open it on any device, it does not have to be the phone — or have a sign-in code emailed and type that in instead. Both expire, and both work once.

I signed in with Google or Apple. Can I have a password too?

Yes. Household → Account → Password. It will not ask for an old one, because you do not have one. Afterwards you can use either.

How do I share the log with someone else?

Household → invite, and send them the code. They can join as a member, who sees everything, or as a pet sitter, who sees the last few months of everyday entries and the feeding routine but not the medical history or the billing.

Somebody left. What happens to what they logged?

It stays, credited to them. They stop being able to see the household. A record that rewrote itself when somebody moved out would not be much of a record.

Can I move my data over from Dog Log?

Yes — export from Dog Log, then Household → Import data → Dog Log and choose the file. You are shown what will be imported before anything is written, and an import can be undone.

How do I stop an assistant seeing my data?

Household → App info → connections, and remove it. Access stops immediately.

I want my account deleted.

Household → Account → Delete account. It tells you what will happen to each of your households first, then asks you to type the word and give your password. There is no undo and no grace period.

A household nobody else is in goes with you. One that other people are still using stays, and what you logged in it stays too — it is their record as much as yours — but it stops being attributed to you. If you are the only owner of a household other people are in, you will be asked to make somebody else an owner first.

Is my data used to train AI?

No. If you choose to connect an assistant, what you send it is governed by that assistant's own terms — but we do not do it, and we do not sell or share your records. See the privacy policy.
